I have worked in a wide variety of clinical settings including acute care hospitals, in-patient rehab, subacute, long term care, and assisted/independent living facilities. I have had extensive clinical experience working with Ortho, Neuro, Stroke, Joint replacements, Medical/Surgical, and Cardio pulmonary patients. I have been a Clinical Instructor for Level 2 fieldwork for Occupational Therapy students from Brenau University GA. I am certified in evidence based OTAGO fall prevention program. Additionally, I volunteer my time as a Design Advisor and provide feedback regarding safety and home modifications for the Universal Design projects.

I have two kids and we love to hike, travel, and spend time with family and friends!

"After shoulder surgery I was unsure of what to expect with PT. Dr. Nikita Patel worked with me weeks 1-6. She helped me out immensely and I made great progress while working with her. She is knowledgeable and patient. Kristy (the office manager) is also wonderful and made the scheduling and insurance info quite easy. I would recommend to anyone who has rotator cuff surgery. "
