About Me


Having obtained a degree in Occupational Therapy from IPH Delhi University in New Delhi, India, Ruchika has been practicing as a Board-certified Occupational Therapist in the US for over 25 years. She has worked in a diverse range of clinical settings, including fast-paced Acute Care hospitals, ICU units, Inpatient rehab, Subacute care, and currently in an Outpatient practice. Her clinical focus has primarily been in adult rehabilitation, with specialization in geriatrics. She has extensive experience in treating patients with orthopedic and neurological disorders, stroke, multiple fractures and motor vehicle accidents (MVA), joint replacements, cardiopulmonary conditions, post-surgical care, and hand injuries.
Committed to helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life, Ruchika focuses on enabling patients to achieve their goals and return to meaningful activities and hobbies they enjoy. She has also served as a Clinical Instructor for Occupational Therapy students from Brenau University in Georgia. Additionally, she holds certification in the evidence-based OTAGO fall prevention program, aimed at reducing falls and enhancing mobility in older adults. Furthermore, She has been involved with The Universal Design Project as a volunteer Design Advisor, providing expertise on safety, accessibility, and home modifications for functional spaces tailored to individuals with disabilities.
Ruchika and her husband are proud parents of two wonderful kids who keep their lives full of joy and adventure. They all love to explore the outdoors, go hiking, travel and spend time with family and friends.
