Aagnya Pathak, PT
Aagnya Pathak PT is a graduate of the Physical Therapy program from Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai, India in 1996. She gained invaluable experience in the art and science of physical therapy and patient care during practice in Mumbai. She was dedicated to the science of physical therapy, which led her complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in 2000.She was married in 2000 and moved to Houston, Texas, where she continued to stay active with her training. She taught physical therapy assistant students at Houston Community College, while her husband completed his residency. Since moving back to the Atlanta area in 2005, she has been busy raising her 2 daughters with her husband. Her personal interests are varied but she particularly enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Aagnya has always been inspired by her mother, who is also a therapist, to dedicate her knowledge to the service of those in need. She has become a dedicated therapist and strives to achieve the best for her patients. She and her patients develop a personalized therapy to achieve the patients' goals. She maintains her education to the most current level with continuing education courses. She learned of the benefits of Pilates training for her own health and feels this is an excellent adjunct to the principles of her traditional education in physical therapy. As a result, she has become a certified instructor upon successful completion of the Pilates Reformer 1 course. She also has been trained in treating patients suffering from dizziness, concussion, other vestibular disorders and temporomandibular joint problems. Aagnya is prepared to apply all that she has learned to provide her patients with the most effective, successful treatment and to help motivate her patients to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
